BACKGROUND
Canine Infectious Hepatitis (ICH) is an acute septic infectious disease caused by canine adenovirus type I infection. The clinical symptoms mostly appear in dogs at birth and under 1 year old, and the main manifestations are high fever, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, etc. symptom. Notable features are blue cornea, jaundice, and anemia. Acute cases often die within 24 hours, and should be distinguished from canine distemper clinically.
